The Sizing Guide
One measurement, taken properly, and the belt is right for a decade. Here is how we do it.
I.
How to measure
The simplest method needs no tape at all. Order the same size as your trousers. A 34-inch trouser waist takes a 34 belt — we cut the strap longer than the stated size so the centre hole lands where it should.
If you would rather measure, do it this way:
- Take a belt you already wear and like, and lay it flat.
- Measure from the fold at the buckle to the hole you actually use — not to the tip.
- That number, in inches, is your White Sand size.
Measuring around your body over a shirt works too, but add nothing and subtract nothing — we have already built the allowance in.

Holes & hardware
Five holes, punched at one-inch spacing, with the centre hole matched to your stated size. That gives two inches of adjustment in either direction — enough for a heavy winter shirt or a long summer.
Straps are cut to 35 mm for the Signature and Reserve lines and 38 mm for Casual, which suits belt loops on both dress trousers and denim. Buckles are solid cast gold alloy in three finishes — antique gold, polished gold, and white gold — chosen at the moment of order.
IV.
Resizing
Bodies change. Belts should follow. Resizing is complimentary within the first year and charged at cost thereafter — we shorten the strap from the buckle end, re-skive the fold, and restitch it so the work is invisible.
Send it back through our returns process, or write to the atelier and we will arrange collection.
